I mean, I'm okay with how the story plays out, you just need ignore that some of her problems could be solved with a call to Bruce, just like a lot of Batman's problems could be solved by a call to Superman.

I am caught up on the main run. It's in my pull box, which is why I was annoyed I didn't get Strikefile #1. Not that reading Prophet means I fully understand it. I need to give it a reread all in one go.

At that point, a publisher (Image?) picked up the story. I think he has the first issue done and is posting it a page at a time on tumblr before making a physical book. He also did some Marvel work in there somewhere that delayed him.

I mean, it's one issue so far, but it seems to be that they don't really know her past or that she's a superhero (yet she's touring with a successful band) (but they also don't know why their guitarist can't speak or even if she's mute), so they think it's her starting the fights.

I'm only half way through the series. So far, the Terminators have killed everyone in the world except for one woman, she travels back in time, is stopped by the Terminators sent back in time, and all life is destroyed in the future. That page is the opening to the third issue. So, not really optimistic.
