That actually makes a lot of sense. With Fraction gone from Marvel and Bendis on X-Men I guess the main candidates to take over Avengers would be Soule or Aaron.

Weird that nearly every solicitation ends with "and then Flashpoint _________ attacks". I guess characters from that universe are the aggressors in this series?

I hate how everybody in 'house style' or whatever is covered in like loving cybernetic armor plates or something no matter what their deal is. It's killin' me.

The Injustice character designs are really bad for this, they took the New 52 ones and went "NOT ARMOR-Y ENOUGH, MORE METAL PLATES". Even characters like Flash look like they're a medieval knight

I think the comics were trying to replicate the designs from the game which can lead to all sorts of issues going from 3D to 2D. The game was using the armored look to reinforce that the most powerful beings on earth are at war with each other so a little more padding may help. That and it adds some flair to the custumes.

I was referring to the game to begin with, most of them are just too overdesigned and busy.

The belt is better at least, don't know what they were thinking with the fingerless gloves though.

Belt change gives the suit some needed cohesion to makeup for the red underwear, but man the fingerless glove things look really silly. It looks like they're attached to the sleeves and not on their own either, which is even sillier. Also it looks like the way his cape is attached is slightly different, but I wish they got rid of the turtle-neck collar look.

The all red belt was my biggest problem with the previous suit too (outside of the unnecessary suit lines).

Kinda weird that both Marvel and DC are doing soft reboots at the exact same time with multiverse battle series leading up to it.
