sleepingbuddha posted:I'd be up for an Unlimited thread. Speaking of which, there's a new coupon code out - ODIN14 gets you one month for $4.99 from now until Sunday. Personally, I don't have time to take advantage of it this month, but I wonder if I can gift a one-month membership to myself to use later. What I'd really like is a code that would get me a year for about $50. None of the old MU codes are still good, right?

Any recommendations for stuff that isn't on Marvel Unlimited already? (and won't be in the near future?) I'm thinking Alias and maybe Punisher Max - it's hard to turn down a penny a page...

Kindle Unlimited seems to include a good chunk of the Comixology Unlimited books now - it might be worth keeping an eye out for deals on that. Good selection of Valiant, Boom, IDW, maybe 50 Marvel vol 1s, but just a few Image books.

It looks like Unofficial Handbook of Marvel Comics Creators is still up and scraping. It's not particularly friendly, especially for non-PC browsing, but it has some useful indexing. I used to use the yearly summary for browsing Marvel Unlimited: http://www.maelmill-insi.de/UHBMCC/dat2018.htm

There is a no-frames page, https://maelmill-insi.de/UHBMCC/datanfr.htm so the indexes aren't 100% broken on tablets, but I'd just go straight to the yearly summary pages for browsing.

It looks like the DC Comixology Unlimited books are now on Kindle Unlimited too. There's about 300 books - the DC ones are mostly Vol 1s, but the Vertigo series usually have at least 2 volumes. Also a few big collections like Multiversity, 52, Injustice Year 1. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_pg_...&qid=1548900036

Has anyone found a good way to read Kindle Unlimited comics on PC? The Comixology reader will show me my purchased Kindle comics, but for Kindle unlimited I need to use the terrible (for comics) PC app or kindle cloud reader. The kindle ios and android readers aren't too bad for comics, but they don't have great kindle unlimited integration. The answer is probably to do a trial subscription to Comixology unlimited instead.

If you're just reading Marvel on Comixology Unlimited right now there's no comparison. Marvel Unlimited has a huge selection with entire runs of series - you don't have to stop reading after the first one or two volumes. And it should go through 2019 instead of just having a few things to pick from 2018.

New Oni Press Humble Bundle 52 items for $25, with a wide assortment of stuff & almost all of it is volumes and novels, not individual comics. Don't forget to adjust your payment split. Ziff-Davis gets at least a 30% cut, but the default is 40%.
