So on the comixology site today, I no longer see the option for the old default viewer. Now the html5 version that was previously available as a beta seems to be the only option. Unfortunately, it has never worked properly for me. I'm in Chrome on win7 64, and any comic I load has an annoying grid over-laying the comic. I mentioned this in the last thread when I tried the beta. Has anyone encountered this? It's no longer even worth using the site in this state. It doesn't matter if I'm in normal page view, guided view etc. I've turned off the few chrome extensions I have installed for the site (adblock plus and a couple others). No dice. Searching Google for others with the same problem hasn't turned up a thing. This happens in both Chrome and IE (ew), which are both up to date. I've e-mailed their support, but thought I might check if anyone else is encountering this. Update: Their support replied fairly quickly, but no resolution at this time. Appears to be a known issue. Here's what they sent in case others are having the same trouble: "Thanks for the feedback, MyNameHere! Really appreciate it. We're aware of this bug and hope to fix it asap. Thanks for your patience in the meantime. :-)" I do have a 7" Nexus tablet I can use in the meantime at least, but I prefer a full-size screen. I did have an error on my first attempt to reset my password, but a 2nd attempt worked. Meanwhile, I've had no further response from them on the weird grid overlay issue I've mentioned a couple times in this thread. Edit: They're still having issues... Intermittently getting "Something's Not Quite Right. Our team is aware and working on the issue." if I try to pull up an issue.

Waterhaul posted:Comixology all seems to be working fine for me now so thankfully their outage wasn't as bad as last time. I just want to point out that the promo e-mail I got for this sale is headed "Fear Itself 99¢ Sale: Save on the groundbreaking event today!"... ... "Fear Itself"..."groundbreaking" Rrriiight, whatever you gotta tell yourself to sleep at night, Comixology.
