Apple also doesn't allow iOS apps to promote non-IAP means of purchasing in-app content, so the Kindle app and the new comiXology reader app can't link to the web storefront AFAIK.

Uthor posted:DC is removing all new releases from comiXology, shifting them until the end of the month. It looks like Diamond is going to be unable to pay publishers for a while, so the strategy of withholding digital releases to protect the DM (which is almost certainly doomed anyway, at least in its current form) isn't going to be tenable for very long. I suspect things will look pretty different by the end of April.
