Being a paragon of free thought, I'll give Brynhildr a try regardless. It doesn't seem terrible yet. Ep2 was about establishing the setting. The whole precog vigilantes thing is rather silly though. Black Bullet E2 might be better than E1 but it's still an incredibly stupid and sleazy show that is utter failure at whatever incisive and cutting >>social commentary<< it attempts. Brynhildr is still a pretty trashy and silly show, but it does push my pathos buttons and the MC has enough presence of mind that I can get behind his motivations. I guess I'm a sucker for big dramatic reunions and fighting secret government organisations in the name of love. And lo, what a cliffhanger to end on. Are we going to have a Madoka Ep3 already?

Mekaku #2 was better than #1, and that was the one with kids with superpowers fighting terrorists. I guess Momo's a better character than loser Arararagi. And I found #1's nerd metahumour irritating. M3 has potential, it does wear everything on its sleeve, and doesn't look like it's going to surprise us very much. They've dumped a load of pre-marked plot threads to follow up on. The mechs have a nice elegant design, like a practical version of the Code Geass mechs.
