The latest Iteration of TUF will be premiering 3/9 at 12pm est. Available only on Fight Pass Your coaches for this season are: Mumble mouthed goblin with lack of self control - Wanderlei Silva  And everyone's favorite smooth talkin, felony havin, TRT takin, stylin, profilin, wheelin n' dealin son of a gun - Chael Sonnen  This TUF season will follow the normal format as 32 fighters from the middleweight and heavyweight divisions will fight to get into the house. The fighters will then be divided into two teams of eight, led by enemies Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen. Chael and Wanderlei have beef because Chael told jokes about Brazil to hype his fights, The type of jokes any moron would realize were jokes for self promotion, but honorable Brazilian crusader Wanderlei Silva has routinely flown into angry fits over Chael's antics and will fight for the pride of Brazil I guess. Despite the possibility of the contestants being branded traitors for training with/being selected by Sonnen, early reports leaked that a lot of the fighters had warmed up to Chael and wanted him as their coach. Who would have figured that fighters would prefer a level-headed guy who can accurately explain all aspects of fighting well (including wrestling) over someone who beats up teens at his academy and spars like he's fighting for his life? Lots of buzz was created when reports of Chael and Wanderlei getting into an honest to goodness fight on set surfaced. People have said it's zuffa staging, but from the twitter reports and the fact that Wanderlei couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag and is prone to rage, I doubt that's the case. Anyways, are the women coaches famous at all in Brazil? I really don't get their inclusion, they don't even understand how mma works. If you wanted to use them on TUF to have new viewers relate to them, they should've done that on the first season. It's a weird and poorly executed idea. Also Chael punking Wanderlei for like 6 straight minutes at the end of the episode was amazing. I wanted to see the next episode right then. You know Wanderlei thought he was all smart and was gonna "put Chael on the spot" in front of all the fighters and it backfired in his face. e- Also I realized this episode that Vinny Magalhaes was one of Chael's coaches. That'll be good for Chael to get himself understood at practice quickly. I was wondering who he was gonna get for that role. Vinny is a good choice in my opinion. The fights have been pretty good for a tuf season and the not so action packed fights were edited well. I'd advise people to watch them to get an idea of how the fighters perform.

They just had them by that one day so the fighters could "rate their personalities" as well as their looks. From the upcoming episode previews yea it looks like two people will leave. Wanderlei is not leaving, it wouldn't make any sense and the news definitely would have got out there. I'll spoiler what I'm pretty sure the Dana conference is (I don't even know why, this is fuckin TUF Brazil). In Chael and Wanderlei's "fight" all the reports said that Wanderlei swings Chael doubles him and gets him on the ground and before the scuffle is over one of Wanderlei's coaches/friends cheapshotted Chael in the back of the head. I'm pretty sure that's who is leaving and who Dana is talking about when he says "should be arrested". The other person leaving looks like a standard TUF injury. Brief things of note, I'm glad to see that Chael already has demonstrably better training sessions. Also I'm pretty sure Wanderlei had his fighter doing squat-thrusts right before the fight which just seems dumb. The product placement is back with a vengeance. From "Oh look in our bags they gave us shampoo" *zooms in for 5 seconds on Pele Head and Shoulders bottle* to Chael crushing energy drinks. It's so bad I love it. Just watched it online. Too lazy to recap this episode, but next weeks episode is "the fight" you see a bit more footage in the preview. Chael double legs Wanderlei flawlessly after ducking a lovely hook.

I know he gives Dida a bunch of poo poo as well. I really hope that bitch gets kicked off the show. What he did is such a loving wack thing to begin with but his defense of it made it even worse. I think he should be banned from the UFC period but I at least hope he gets off the show. I looked on twitter and even Brazilians are tearing him a new rear end in a top hat and calling him a bitch.

You have a lot of fighters praising Wanderlei and his sessions (despite them being sloppy), but you can't not put in Wanderleis stupid rage rants because they're great for tv. If you wanna see someone edited bad see the Roy season where dopey music would literally play over his monologues at times and afterwards it would cut to Dana White openly saying what Roy was saying was stupid and wrong (don't go for unnecessary finishes it's a long show and you could get injured, worry about going to the UFC). Despite Lyoto messing up his leg he did alright. If that 3rd round lasted 15 more seconds he would've got a tko victory. Borrachina was literally not moving. Also the challenges are so stupid. Chael can't pick the next fight now because Wand's fighters were better at getting off the mat after being wrapped in saran wrap... e- Dana telling Dida to gently caress off was the best part of the ep. along with him and wand fake apologizing. Good episode, but based on the preview for the next one it seems like the coaches challenge is tailor made for Wanderlei to win (soccer challenge). I hope Chael pulls out a Forrest vs Rampage performance.

Chael handily beating Wanderlei in a coaches challenge that involved dribbling a soccer ball was one of the best things yet. The icing on the cake was Chael won a Brazil jersey signed by Pele as well. You could tell that made Wanderlei angrier than the money.
