Every time I see Onodera in this thread i think of Punpun. Maybe Punpun actually takes place in the Nisekoi universe and his mom is Onodera.

Well at least we got one good chapter before the end. Not including the end, of course. Next manga Komi makes better be a decent fighting manga, most entertaining chapters we had past 100 were when fights broke out.

I remember reading the first chapter of this when it was new, then forgetting about it. Since it just ended I decided I might as well jump ahead to the last one. I don't feel like I missed too much. Shame about childhood promise girl I guess.

Knowing nothing about the manga as a whole, from looking at just the real last chapter and fan last chapter of this it looks like the long/dark-haired one was the typical "main shounen romance girl", so it seems like the real ending actually went against grain by having the main character hook back up with the short-hair girl (which is usually just one of the random love interests). Was real ending something unexpected? edit: lol at the part in the fan chapter where short-hair just fucks off to France after being dumped

I don't quite remember, but I think he ended up with "girl he had had a relationship with" rather than "ideal girl who he more or less made eyes at for three years." It wasn't particularly unexpected, but as you can tell, it chapped enough people's asses that someone created their own final chapter from a bunch of frames from other chapters and then uploaded it to batoto, which is hilarious. And of course there are still people arguing about it in the comments, years later, even when they're re-reading it or whatever. It's actually kinda impressive that someone went that far.

Yeah, the girl he accidentally dated at the beginning of the series is who he ultimately ends up with. They broke up midway through, but she was still around as a supportive friend and stuff.
