I first played Dwarf Fortress in 2006 and I am deeply nostalgic about the nights I used to spend playing DF in that former-crack-den basement apartment with a bottle of wine and the chilly autumn air drifting in through the single broken window. It menaced with spikes of glass. This is to say, maybe 10am Eastern is not too early for a bottle of wine, just this once, as a treat e: i just realized the significance of living underground when I got hooked on DF e2: there was a perpetual miasma in the hallway. my neighbour did not have a designated refuse stockpile outside the fort
