What's everyones favorite euro clockable lfo? I've seen good things about the 4ms, the ModCan and some people are digging the Disting.

I've got an ES-4 so maybe I should just get a CV expander instead and software up some LFOs.. but thats not as much fun right?

Zvex Instant Low-fi Junky is one of the few pedals I find sounds better on synths than guitar. Makes even the most sterile VA sound like an analog from the 80's.

I run an ms2000 through this every so often and it sounds like vhs.

Expert Sleepers have a new module coming out that acts as a USB I/O. While that doesn't sound super impressive, apparently you can throw some TouchOSC at it (and probably Lemur) which is super awesome.

I'm spoiled and have an ES-4 so it auto calibrates. But yeah, its pretty slick. This could replace a lot of modules for me.

I'm looking to throw a Kaoss pad at some of my gear but I'm concerned that some of them have garbage midi clocking from external sources. Can anyone recommend which version is best when it comes to stability?

what sequencer modules do people like?

I'm using an Orbitals. Its pretty great (and cheap compared to the Audio Damage) but the gate switches are the worst

All of my gear reacts different to MIDI under C-2. Some goes to 1, some to zero. The MIDI to CV on my modular loops back around after C-2, and starts playing down from C-8 the lower you go.

Yeah thats what happens when I set the Min/Max to 0/127. Standard its 48/127 I believe.

If you have Kontakt, Monark is a cheap way to establish a nice Moog sound.

I have a Pittsburgh case, which Control told me today tend to have poo poo power. Still, I'm under spec.

Upon digging, TIL the Doepfer MIDI-CV module (A-194) takes almost 200mA of power, which is about 80 more than my Metasonix. That... doesn't make sense.

I've had my Mother 32 for a few days now - its incredible. If you're into retro-soundtracky Carpenter stuff it will make every noise you've wanted within the first 30 minutes of playing with it.

I'm trying to sync the box to my eurorack via an ES-4 but am having some difficulty with the clock. Basically, the Mother keeps playing with tons of swing, but I've got all that off. Master clock is Ableton, and ES is set to

Mother is set to Tempo CV.

Someone should make an app that organizes patches. Take a photo and record a C3 sample (which could be quickly played back with a basic keyboard). Meta-tag that thing and share to a global audience.
