I was having a White screen crash, but fixed it on a hd6870.

I have a dual monitors using 2 DVI to hdmi. One goes to a monitor the other a hdtv. I switched it so only the monitor is enabled and Dark Souls booted up. Also have GPU Scaling enabled.

I'm only using one monitor, and it does not have a DVI entry. Will retry with GPU scaling though!

gently caress. I'm getting BSODs now, due to Driver Failure.

It started like two days ago, and it was really, really random. But now it just happened four times in a row, first during gameplay and now whenever I boot the game. Any thoughts?

Could it be BetterDS3? I'm using a Radeon HD7770

I had an issue with repeat BSODs while playing with MIJ program/drivers and when I googled it there was evidence others had the same problem. Deleted all MIJ content and switched to Xinput, have not had an issue since.

Nope. And I'm not getting BSODs in any other game. Just Dark Souls 2. Had not even seen a BSOD till a couple days ago.

Uninstalled BetterDS3 after it made Dark Souls 2 BSOD five times in a row. People recommended Xinput, worked fine till today, when the game stopped recognizing my controller. :sigh:

Any ideas?

I'm incredibly tempted to just reduce my soul memory to the equivalent of SL 150. Like, I don't even care about the stats - I'll reset myself to 150 even. But goddamn, SM can get stupid when your only interest is to help people through jolly cooperation.

I know Dark Souls 1 went through a lot of patches and DkS2 has only gotten like three in total, but I really hope they change it up a bit.

I could have used those titanite chunks too. Thanks to high ADP and them being scaredy cats they gave me just enough room to heal and dodge away. Also throwing knives.

You get chunks for invading and killing hosts, not phantoms. :v:

Actually, it might be in the room with the tree (look for a switch behind the glowing red statues near the second bonfire), I can't remember which room has which spell.

It was nice to see DLC enemies being weaker to slash damage instead of strike. Didn't try any piercing melee though.
Is Mundane still a good infusion for general purpose? I'm at SL500 with 60 on every stat, and just doing coop at an altered soul memory because I love helping people. :3:

Also, what's the deal with the open chests in the DLC?
