Looks nice at 60 fps. Texture work isn't amazing overall. But generally, it looks like a souped up version of the console version and I suppose that's all you can expect. It's mostly unfortunate that they showed a version they were incapable of delivering to preview the game.

voltron lion force posted:If anything the PC version's graphics are a slight upgrade from the console's, what with the resolution bump and sharper textures. There's nothing slight about it, in reality. The better textures and high natural rendering resolutions will make things look much better and a stable 60fps is a huge improvement. It doesn't look close to as good as the original announcement but to say it's anything other than the definitive release of the game is being facetious. This was true of Dark Souls on PC too before DSfix. It still looks and runs better than any console version.

The UK physical release of the PC version has been delayed by a week because of a manufacturing mess up with the packaging. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-04-15-manufacturing-issue-holds-boxed-pc-dark-souls-2-back-in-uk The digital release seems to be unaffected.
