I can't put a finger to it but I'm finding this show very organic--the characters don't solely act like types, and it has some genuinely heartwarming stuff, like Syaro's "secret" and Cocoa-and-Chino's sisterly bond. Normally I'd bat an eyelash over the latter but it's handled cleanly. Also, for an anime with schoolgirls, there's refreshingly very little school-related hijinks. It doesn't feel like they're in Japan, though? The town looks really European.

I understand it's an SoL and doesn't really aspire for much, but even then, I have a hard time turning off my brain and enjoying it. Considering we went almost three episodes with no discussion, it seems I'm not alone. I don't know about you, but I'm really enjoying this show. But slice of life shows don't lend themselves well to lengthy discussions unless something really sticks out.
