Make sure to not piss of the USSR, 5 tank units and 6 infantry units are invading me.
I guess I should have pulled down the Military Forts and replaced them with Army Bases, they seem to use the amount of space.

I tried it once and it was really fun but I ended up running out of missions for increases. I guess what you want to do is priorize those missions and always pick the longest term increase, until you run out of luck.
