pagoe posted:does shuffle mean play music in descending order from top to bottom because if it does, it works great. also queue doesnt work. im using play music on ios 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 < 8 9 and you hit shuffle it would now be 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 < 9 8 the only way to make it shuffle an entire list was to go into now playing and delete the queue then go to the playlist you want and start it then hit shuffle and live with the first track being first always theyve since changed it and now it behaves as id expect where hitting shuffle while a playlist is playing reshuffles the queue so that the song playing is first in a list of shuffled tracks and if the playlist is started while shuffle is enabled it will play in a random order (although always starting with the first track) the thing is that dyp'ers defended this behavior until google fixed it so tl;dr it works like youd expect now idk why youre having trouble i just tried it a million different ways and it shuffled the way things are supposed to this is android btw its prob. the old way on ios

Shifty Pony posted:ah yes it is perfectly acceptable for a key function of a major app to be broken on the one or two year year old flagship products (combined sales of nearly 100m units) of the largest android device maker for over a year now (problems first started mainly with maps v7 and android 4.3, maps v8 or android 4.4 didn't fix it) with no response from google. that is totally fine. i'm sure Win ME ran just great on the MS reference systems too. check again perhaps you are not running kitkat or lollipop which is a common mistake but you dont want to use out of date software also if you own a samsung be sure to dispose of it in an environmentally responsible manner as you wouldnt want touchwiz to seep into the water supply

why do you ignore all the google services that are alive and fine? is it to present google in the worst possible light or is it because you didnt know they have things like maps news drive and the play store? it seems like your point would not be diminished by acknowledging that they have more than five things that are alive and supported ofc when you dig deep for the failures calling them apps youve never heard of but dont mention any of the alive apps youve never heard of like keep or voice

instead of europe just bemoaning us companies for making poo poo people voluntarily choose to use have they ever considered doing anything at all for themselves? youd think with how us-centric all of the poo poo is it would be far easier to just compete rather than just throw up their hands and surrender every market to foreign competition
