I'm thinking about starting a HC char on USEast but I am very noob and probably won't be on often. Is a Paladin a good HC option or am I better off out of harm's way with a bowazon?

Found out something about imbuing: when imbuing a Scepter or something that has innate skill bonuses, the skill bonuses are rerolled. I purchased a +3 holy fire +3 resist cold scepter and it turned into something like +1 prayer with some damage bonuses. 20k gold and an imbue wasted, but at least the weapon would have been replaced by Act 3 or 4 regardless.
