Yeah, is ammo invisible on conveyers? I had no idea if my similar set-up was working till things got blasted.

edit: unrelated but restarting for the millionth time, I've realized you can make mining drills output directly into furnaces which makes the early game a lot less of a pain in the rear end when you're waiting for burner drills to slowly mine everything and you have no conveyor belts

Just be aware that one burner miner can supply two furnaces, so you're only at half speed while direct connecting them.

Dollars to donuts it's this.

This needs to be this game's soundtrack, just looped forever.

There's a few things you can do that'll really simplify things for you.
First, stick a furnace right on the output of your iron or copper mines.

But be aware that ovens smelt at half the speed that burner drill mine.

I've never used log bots before and I have the ingredients for blue science packs dumping out at opposite ends of my base, how do I get these jerks to collect poo poo and dump it into factories?

I had an interesting map - I was on a peninsula, so I didn't see biters for a while but when I did they came in force. The early-midgame transition period was very fraught. Also it was mostly desert with long distances so it felt a little Mad Max.

Very satisfying.

We have similar maps. behold my poo poo factory:

I don't know what I'm doing and i'm yet to look at a wiki :toot:

Ok, maybe I'm just :downs: but how do I a) Find the current (steam ver) RSO mod thing, B) install mods, I tried dropping it in the factorio folder and in /mods, but neither works.

I just want to do RSO and tanker rail cars.

Markiplier's been playing this game, with a friend. He is TERRIBLE, haha. Like, making a circle of belts around some assemblers that put stuff onto and take off stuff from the same circular belt. That's amazing.

Why is it that all these youtube gaming celebs are really bad at games? is there some law of nature or what

Have the boiler to steam engine ratios changed now? I just started this game for the first time in forever and everything's different, with steam being a separate resource now can you not have boilers in serial connection anymore?
