It is in real time, but latency plays a part of it. Saying it is like a street fighter game is alright. Iti s close. The game revolve around blocks, parrys, charge attacks, and some other things. But it has gotten weirder since I left. So not sure if we are some weird capcom universe now.

It lags out a bit, but crazy things happen. Beggars have a combo they can pull off that is infinite. You won't do this though unless you have low ping. Some of the moves in this set are aoe. So in larger fights they can dash into an area, knock everyone up, and probably push half of them away like some drunken buddah. The large scale fights were lots of fun when I last played. From what limited time I had with the new patch, these new schools and vagabonds make being a new player or returning player pretty easy. I still can't believe they keep opening new servers though.

That game doesn't look great, mainly the combat. It looks like you got 5 or so levels to go before picking a school. PvP is in any zone that is not a school or city. And not a lot of features are in yet like you are in a guild, now what.

 Hold hand does exactly what you think it would. I held drinks hand, his character ran where I did, and we were never separated. I can not carry him though. EDIT: if you have a mount, which you get during the newbie quests, you auto mount if you auto run to the next place.

Wu-Tang girlfriends are possible. And you have a wushu affection meter but it actually does things. You can't start a guild without having affection with each other. 1 point per minute killing monsters, riding horses, and sitting at tables together gives you more points.

From what I read, it will be f2p. There are non pvp zones which are towns and schools, open pvp everywhere else. There are two types of guilds, or guild actions. I won't know until level 35. But there are bandits and mercenary groups. The help file is really good, and there are differences between the two groups. If you are a bandit, you kidnap someone, torture them, get a confession, then can spend up to 3 confessions a day to hijack carts. EDIT: Already VN people in world chat.
