(I got to used to GMT matching up) I, Grey Hunter, First of that name, Annoyer of the LP forums and most terrible of painters, hearby oath for the fine month of June 240 1815 British Napoleonic Redcoats! In 6mm scale, because even I am not that insane. For ease of counting, This is 240 men, on 60 4 man sprues, glued for painting 6 to a stick. Overall, this will make me 15 bases of infantry.

(I got to used to GMT matching up) Screw this. if your going to make a fool of yourself, go big. Oath Addition! Lets add a few guys, how about 9 British Generals 4 Artillery peaces with 4 crew each (20 models) 48 British Riflemen 27 hussars 27 dragoons 54 Heavy cavalry. All 6mm, all by Baccus miniatures - I forgot the manufacturer in the original oath it seems. I'm going to be mixing it up with my basing a bit, but I'll make sure to explain what is what. (425 models if anyone is counting.)

Oath Complete As my light box is to small, time to break out the new (and still creased) grass mat! There are my men, but as they are a little small (6mm) lets have a closer look, and provide some counts so I can prove everyone is present and correct. (You might just want to trust me on this one) In the forground, the riflemen are 4 to a base with 12 bases total (6 shown here) behind them the line infantry, 16 to a base with 15 bases (one at the back with leftover figures on it.) 240 men in line formation, 48 in skirmish Here we see the Generals and artillery - Artillery is 4 men and cannon to a base, and there are four of them. Generals are either 2 to a base or 3 to a base depending on whether they are Division or Corps Commanders. you can also see the spare cav I had mounted up on round bases to act as command point markers. Artillery, 16 men, 4 guns, 9 generals, 6 spare horsemen Left flank, and we can see four bases of Hussars, 6 to a base. 24 men Right flank, in the same configuration the light Dragoons. 24 men Behind them, 6 to base are nine bases of Heavy dragoons. 54 men Total = 425 plucky men. Bonuses Journal My bases look a lot better in real life than in these pics, but I hope the three layers of dry brushing and flock qualify me for this months journal! I rolled a 6! - Six command point markers, bases separately to show where my Generals are focusing their attention this turn. Box art - These are all historical uniforms, but if you go here and click on the British, you can see my Line infantry at least is the same as the manufacturers website. Double the fun! - Obviously. Now all I need to do is paint up the French and I can actually play! At least I forgot to buy any light infantry for them, so that's 48 models less to paint!

Finally, the light infantry/skirmishers. including an attempt at 6mm scale Poppys for the journal. For anyone who doesn't know, the Poppy is the Royal British Legion remembrance symbol here in the UK. Really these should be WWI Tommys, but I worked with what I had. Oath Complete Another month done and dusted, first the good models - the historicals. Portuguese Line infantry and French Chasseurs. Lets get some bonuses rolling here! First up, a Parts list for the Portuguese line Citidel Paints Skull White Regal Blue Shadow grey Calthan Brown Vallejo Paints Gold Basic Skintone Deep Yellow Then a nice little In Battle shot showing them and all the other 6mm guys I've painted this year! Now onto the Board Game minis from Mansions of Madness, they are not the greatest miniatures in the world, but then again they are from a board game. The Dunwich Horror and the Black Goat in the wood are good, I like the expression on the Horror's face. (the human one) The Investigators at the top are fine as well, I'm claiming the Journal for the stubble on not-Indiana Jones. I also added some badly cut hair to the Wizard and some of the worst OSL you will ever see - and I'm claiming the Double the fun! bonus (I can back it up with some more photos, but its a subtle effect) That's about it for the month!

Oath Complete Backstory These Dreadball Xtreme pirates are painted up as members of the Securan race - from my Distant Worlds LP The Securan Paradise having conquered the know Galaxy and instated the Pax Secura. After generations of peace and love, the population at large was board of the Peace - they wanted some violence like their ancestors. Hence the Securan 69'ers were born! Taking the sexy green alien space babe cliche and running it to the endzone, the 69'ers lull their opponents into a false sense of security before beating them into a pulp - and the 69'ers don't just keep to the regular Dreadball - they are also know to hit the Xtreme circuit to try some more illicit fun. Journal - Take your pick from 1) Sexy Redheaded Greenskinned Aliens 2) The race from my Distant worlds LP 3) The Iron Man style uniform. I think I have this one covered!
