Use all of that when someone gets tackled on the dancefloor to say that "it's a tense situation, and people were on edge, and maybe the staffer was overzealous in ejecting the girl who attacked her", while her mouthy friend who wasn't even there tries to claim that you can't legally tell people they can't swing glowsticks on metal chains (the same metal chains the ejected girl claims were cut with scissors). Then you decide that since it's almost time for the convention to close for the night, you don't want to deal with it anymore and cave in because you're too afraid of bad press about your con, and most people who were there and saw poo poo go down (like the previous year's sexual assault by the "indie" guy and his crew) don't feel like they can talk about it without hiding behind anonymity and a whole lot of abstraction. The head also looks pasted on, so I'd bet on the latter. If you do a GIS for that image, there are like four others of her in various poses. It's almost definitely a cosplay from that alone.
