The Cleveland Browns spent six-figures on advanced analytics to study potential QBs, then threw all that out after Jimmy Haslam ran into a homeless guy in downtown Cleveland.

No joke, I forgot that the draft was today. My mom texted asking for my thoughts on the Lions pick, and I honestly had no idea who he was.

I'm pretty cool with the Bills landing Sammy Watkins. Whaley seems like some one whose not content to sit tight: he'll either go get his guy or move down if he thinks he could get him later.
Honestly, the Browns could do worse than grabbing Johnny Football. It'll be fun to see him die in our annual matchup(Manuel's knee will probably get exploded again too. I hate playing the Browns.)

It'd be the smartest move Texans have done in ages and require a bit of luck, but yea. Clowney is great alone of course but if we can add to that we may actually, you know, not suck this season.

Eagles pick... I don't dislike it. Definitely addressed a need, but I think that was just an awkward spot to pick. I would've liked Kelvin Benjamin, but I don't have the biggest issue with this. I trust Chip did his homework.

editL Another thing that is odd about it is it goes right against their "best player available" attitude leading up to the draft. Just a very curious pick.

Clowney went No. 1 overall and the Panthers finally drafted a receiver. I'm not thrilled that they went for such a raw prospect whose main attribute is his size, but who knows, maybe it'll work out -- and there's still several rounds left to double-dip at the position. I don't love it, but I don't hate it, either. Very happy and excited for JD, regardless.
