Let me get in on the ground floor of this thread. I thought the first episode was little slow, despite the great vampire fight. The, what, three scenes where someone asks to be told what's going on, only to be met with metaphor were a little annoying. But then all of "Seance" was amazing. Eva Green's work during the possession scene was incredible, even if I too had trouble determining which spirits she was channeling. It was nice to learn a little more about Ethan and Sir Malcolm, and I was really looking forward to seeing Proteus understand his nature. is the only was I can describe the Monster's introduction.
