I got Dancer 3 out of 4 runs this year, and I don't think I want to use Dancer ever again. That low HP is a huge pain in the rear end.

I think my fondest memory of the Fiesta was the final battle of my first run, where my Equip Shields Dancer blocked an Almagest (LOVE Aegis Shield) and prevented a party wipe right there (since Dancer Lenna had the lowest HP on the team but managed to be the only one standing after that first Almagest). A few Phoenix Downs and Elixirs and my team was back up and went on to take him down, with Lenna also blocking the second and last (and less fatal to my team) Almagest for shits and giggles.

At least one run had 30+ Speed Trap hits. I think I've hit that Speed Trap enough for Dr. Clapperclaw to have given it to me by now. :colbert:

I had the same problem, my tweets weren't getting through to RK or Gilgabot. Kyrosiris had to poke RK for me, which caused him to follow me with Gilgabot, and then my victory tweets went through. Is your Twitter only used for Fiesta too? I'm wondering if that might be why there's problems.

I finished FF5 for the first time ever, and I enjoyed the game. Gilgabot gave me Black Mage, Berserker, Geomancer and Dancer and they all got to level 45 by the time I finished. Had to grind a bit two times, I think.

However, Gilgabot didn't accept my tweet. I tried retweeting as suggested here and on the IRC channel (where I probably forgot to thank everyone!), but that didn't help either. I decided that since I know I finished it and it doesn't really affect anything, I'll just let it be (well, except for the statistics). Might even try again next year.

Yeah I didn't get any response on retweets for my final run either. But we know what we did! I'm hoping he does it manually over the next week or so, assuming he can access it manually.

He always approved victory tweets manually. Sadly Twitter seems to have changed something, and both he and Gilgabot don't seem to be receiving tweets from a lot of accounts. I'm afraid I'll discover the same problem next year, since I didn't do any tweets after the change... :ohdear:

Final Fantasy V advance : Sound Restoration and No-framerate-drop Hack posted:

3.0 (September 3rd 2014) : Comply redone the hack from scratch again. I must be masochist. This time, all 69 musics and 186 sound effects were converted directly from the SNES version with the tools I made (some manual editing was also involved). The music driver of the GBA game has been partially rewritten, based on the Golden Sun's sound mixer. High quality reverb, to simulate the SNES sound, is now implemented. The game doesn't lag anymore, even during the final battle where the original GBA port lagged like crazy. The hack is now distributed for all 3 versions of the game (japan, america, europe) instead of just europe. I am ready to eat my shoes if anyone can guess which version is my GBA hack and which one is SNES on a blind test.

Y'know I applied this patch and the music works fine and the game looks amazing when I'm in battle or in towns/dungeons but on the overworld map it's horrifically slow. I wonder if that's intentional or if something got screwed up.
