I've been looking into buying a camper for a long road trip I'm planning and it's proving to be very difficult to find something decent at an affordable price, at least where I'm at. I completely agree with the sentiment toward VWs. I've checked out a few and people are asking big money for total junk. Not to mention they have awful driving characteristics. Anyone have any thoughts on specific brands to look for? Or at least some alternate methods of searching for the right vehicle. Craigslist is a crapshoot, Ebay pricing is outrageous and local dealers are just full of 50+' monsters.
