Thanks for that I'll check out the prices and it's about time I treat myself.

Spurd.
I've been doing some testing at Talladega with 0% humidity and 30 mph southerly wind.

Managed to hit the limiter on all 3 GT3 cars.

Also got the old Indycar up to 255 mph/410 kmh with the dega set and some gear ratio adjustments. :rice:

Just managed to run my first clean race... up until after the checkered flag where I ended up spinning on the turn. Also was my first top 5 finish, although I was a lap down. Still proud of myself. Dodges a crazy amount of idiots during the race.

Also I have a feeling that I'm going to just end up buying the G27 through Amazon next week instead of buying a cheaper wheel that I'd just end up upgrading later.

If it's in your price range, do it. There is a massive jump in quality from everything cheaper than a G27 to a G27.

I love my G27, the only thing I don't like about it is there's only 6 buttons on the steering wheel, and with the DW12 I'm gonna need more buttons for fuel mixture and Go Baby Go

Wow the dfgt has no shortage somewhere around 15 plus paddles shifter and +/- knob.

Well I just realized today that the Indy qualifying cuts off today. I've got a time in, but it's not a particularly good one, so I get into the last qual session. I've got a good run going, maybe mid to high .6, then I brush the wall coming out of 4. 4! After spending all this drat time getting 1 right, I have brain vapor lock coming out of 4 :suicide:

The only complaint I have with the G27 is it's been like 3 weeks now and the "new plastic smell" hasn't gone away. :barf:

You can run the 500 without qualifying, but you'll be in a lower split with other people who didn't qualify

Yeah, I know, but I wanted to spend several hours tweaking a setup and taking it super cereal. I didn't even consider that qualifying would end before the last race. I'm more likely to run one of the normal series this weekend now that I'd be stuck with non-qualifying plebs in the 500.

Same here, I figure the odds are astronomical against actually finishing. I should probably be in the 3rd split; I'll be very curious to see what the attrition rate is like.

I think in roughly 8 hours for Aussies, then there is one for Euros six hours after that.

But then there is an open one this time tomorrow I think.

It's like a rain delay, in a world where radar doesn't exist and you're not allowed to look at the track until it's time to race.

Still not as cringeworty as when the announcers say I hopes hes alright after a crash.

I wish they would just acknowledge they're playing drat internet racecars already. Anything else is obscenely stupid.
