So then I created an additional wifi network from this modem with a network with suffix _IoT in the SSID. But I wonder if there is really a point for me, because I don't think there are any firewall rules separating the networks or restricting the IoT network from the internet. So if there is no use I might just revert back to my normal network for the wifi IoT stuff too.
