So it's nerdy as hell, but I just used the tail end of a Dresden Fan Filming shoot to propose to my girlfriend. Got a chance to participate in some "let's hold back Dresden from killing Jim" pictures, too. Soon as I have permission from the photographer I'll share the pictures and video.

Jim was kind enough to be there for my proposal/engagement party.  As a joke during the photo shoot he started to list off "spoilers" for Peace Talks. It was followed by smug cackling. It was a lovely day right up until Thomas walked up and told me that Justine was pregnant.

So now that I can officially say this, I've read Butcher's upcoming new book from his new Cinder Spires series. Even got a chance to be part of a group cosplay this past weekend at DragonCon.  I'm the one in the (intentionally) horrible suit. The cane is my own creation and glows a whole bunch of colours and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, despite the rush.

Considering I was hanging out with Jim while making the site, I'd say it's an accurate figure. People have just started getting a bit...persistent. To the point that there were comments asking about Peace Talks on Jim's engagement video. Word of Jim: He intends to be submitting Peace Talks within 6-8 weeks of Brief Cases coming out.
