So wait, did the op ever actually explain why his morality was actually objective and not just a thing someone made up that has no ultimate grounding in reality? Because that's still a thing with morality not actually being real.

why should he do any of this? presumably he wants his wife to not die, why should he not seize the opportunity to have his wife not die? how can you tell a dude the right thing to do is to let his wife die and then expect him to give a poo poo about right and wrong
