I've noticed that a lot of MtFs have military service backgrounds, usually in the super hard-rear end branches. Were you trying to cover your uneasiness about your identity by putting on a front of hyper-masculinity? Also, I'm glad that you are happier with yourself and your life now. That's the name of the game.

powerful weedlock posted:true, but doctors (and patients who badger them), especially psychiatrists for whatever reason, love to jump to drug therapy as the first option. im sorry that i believe changing your life or getting therapy for your past will fix your current mental state, but since thats a long and difficult process people would rather have a quick-fix-it just like everything else in life thats harder but better for you, i suppose. doctors often combine these therapies
