Reminder that a Spanish judge ordered 200 blood bags seized in Operation Puerto destroyed haha

Its disgusting that nobody ever brings this up in general media when Spanish athletes win anything

So I was on the second leg of driving 1,400 miles to my vacation spot today and had to miss this. I heard it was the greatest game of all time and the final score couldn't do it justice confirm/deny

Could easily have been 7 or 8 for the Dutch

When Fuentes got raided 100 or so bags of blood were siezed that the Spanish government have refused to be released for testing almost certainly because it'll show a whole load of Spanish athletes were doping

Loving Africa Chaps posted:

Then pep's style creeps in further and rather than the brilliant football for what is overwhelmingly the worlds most talented squad we get an ultradefensive pile of shite that somehow gets excused because they have loads of possession. A team with Xavi, Alonso, Villa, Torres (while he was still good), iniesta etc start passing the ball back to the keeper rather then try and score a goal and spend the entirety of the world cup grinding out 1-0 wins. It's an appalling waste of talent and is basically another form of mourinho's 'anti-football'.

There is also the fact that despite having easily the best team in the world at the time, one of the tactics used by Barca was to go to ground under any challenge to win a free kick and get possession back instead of being tackled. Leading to Dani Alves being stretchered off to waste time and jumping off the stretcher and running back on as soon as he'd got off the pitch

Nadal regularly moans about how strict testing despite Tennis having the laziest testing of pretty much any major sport. Djokovic used to quit games when he was gassed then got on a "gluten free diet" and started winning regularly.

All Spanish sport is tainted by the fact anyone who wins things will have almost certainly been using Fuentes. Real Sociedad's former president came out and said that there were bags of blood with player names on that he assumes were for doping and nobody did any investigated or anything

Commentators did mention that only 2 of the players were over 30 in the team that played last night. The team isn't so old that you'd normally expect such a sudden drop in form
