Professional football is doped to the gills, don't delude yourself into thinking your domestic league is safe from that. If there's money on the line you better believe people will go to lengths to secure a certain level of performance.

I read a post like that here in TRP not that long ago, so it's not exclusive to Germany (just like doping).
