Brazil's problem is that Fred sucks so much, with a proper striker they'd be lethal.

Hopefully Brazil doesn't win the World Cup because I'm afraid a few people here might kill themselves if they do.

During Copa America 2007 Brazil was really bad too but even then they got to the final were they demolished Argentina who was up until that point playing really well and destroying all it's rivals. It's a funny old game.

Maybe Brazilians should stop naming themselves after birds, it didn't work for Pato, it didn't work for Ganso... I bet there's a Gallo somewhere in Brazil trying to make a name for himself.

Felipao should definitely keep playing Maicon over Dani Alves, that was a good decision.

Bobo the Red posted:Pity that Neymar being out will give an excuse for our bad team getting knocked out. We need a really drastic change in coaching philosophy and we will not get it. Losing at home was our shot at it, but not without our 2 best guys You didn't embarrass yourselves at home, that's good enough for this very average team imo.

Loving Africa Chaps posted:I'm not sure that's true. They didn't take any spinal precautions with him. Scolari said that's what Neymar told Marcelo at the moment, I guess that's why Marcelo looked so alarmed, it was probably just the pain of the moment and Neymar being afraid of getting injured.

The CBF says Santos' doctor and physio went to Neymar's house and recommended them to infiltrate Neymar so he could play a hypothetical final and they are PISSED because if he had followed that recommendation then his career might have been ruined or even his ability to walk in the future. Santos are obviously still pissed they only got like 30m out of the Barca deal.

Yeah that's a good point volkerball, most German players play together at Bayern and when Spain was dominant most played at Barca, there's no way Brazil is ever going to have that with the way football is run. Most of your best players are going to get scattered through Europe.
