Well I completely agree that wealth distribution in the US is bad, but I believe its possible (and the goal we should be aiming for) to have good stock market performance and expanding wealth for the middle class.

I was more lolling at the one poster who tried to bring it up as a sign that Obama is secretly in league with the wealthy. If the 2013 stock market rally happened under a Romney presidency, Republicans would be bragging about it pretty hard.

Political discourse in the US is just taking the story of the day and filtering it through whatever lovely, partisan optics you have on.
