hallik posted:So Sansa was in all black and feathers. Isn't that representin' Littlefinger's black bird symbol? Her way of showing acceptance and allegiance? It's showing the shift in her character. She looked different, she walked different, she acted different. She looked a little like her mom, too.

SBJ posted:Does Tywin even know what the hell he is doing anymore or is he just going through the motions to organize his own demise? He acts like he has some grand master plan but on the surface he doesn't seem to be very prepared to preserve his family name. He HAD a master plan, until Tyrion went all you-cant-handle-the-truth and hosed everything up (again). Jorah is going to ride in to Tyrion's rescue any second now

mcbexx posted:Edit: That was some first grade scream queen poo poo Ellaria's actress pulled off there. She did a great job with limited screen time. She also pulled off a really sexy attitude and look, while in other roles she's very plain and dressed down. She reminded me of Gretchen from Breaking Bad, another actress who was great even though she wasn't on camera a whole lot.

One aggravating thing about GOT is how every new group is introduced as The Most Badass, Terrifying, Lethal Killers Ever. New ones keep getting introduced to prevent you from realizing the old ones never did anything. Ironborn: ran away from a shirtless guy with a puppy Wildlings: 100,000 -- more like a couple dozen Threnn: ate potato dad, otherwise yawn Stannis: getting loan from the Trade Federation, brb Night's watch: ok these guys don't even pretend to be badass. Sam did make a successful save roll vs. virginity White Walkers: are they actually in this series? C'mon, GRRM, two of these groups have been marching on the Wall for like three seasons now. Isn't it about time for a major battle instead of Pod and Brienne's Excellent Adventure?
