When my brother and his wife got back from Monaco (which I get is not Morocco) his summary was like "It's pretty much what ever luxury hotel in Vegas tries to fool you in to thinking it is, without any of the white trash waiting in massive lines for lovely restaurant seating." The big casino's huge-rear end lobby is plated in no-poo poo gold, and at least in the '90s they wouldn't let you on the floor in less than a tuxedo. When I was a kid we'd take the train down to ogle the cars and the girls, about the last time we went down there we accidentally bought a Ferrari and had to flip it before the bills came due. 'The town Vegas desperately wishes it was' is pretty spot on.

The car demand in Monaco is so bizarre that I remember one of the few American cars was like an '85 Monte Carlo SS and I think it went for more than that Ferrari or the Rolls. Dunno if the name had novelty value or what.

I watched a movie over the weekend called Blue Ruin that had one of the most accurate depictions of a veteran I've ever seen in a movie. Dude was fat, worked at a bar, and lived alone with a bunch of guns. Plus, the actor that played the veteran was Buzz in the Home Alone movies so that was p cool. My math class was at 8am this past semester, I showed up just over half of the time. Luckily, my professor didn't take attendance, or I would've been dropped in a heartbeat. Also, I still did all the drat studying for the lectures I missed or I would've tanked come exam day. Got 3 A's an 1 C (integration lol) on my exams, and I assume I got a B on my Final. Next semester I'm taking discrete mathematics, modern algebra, linear algebra, computer science 2, and some 1 credit online class about Unix.
