JOINING THE SA FORUMS WILL REMOVE THIS BIG AD, THE ANNOYING UNDERLINED ADS, AND STUPID INTERSTITIAL ADS!!!

You can: log in, read the tech support FAQ, or request your lost password. This dumb message (and those ads) will appear on every screen until you register! Get rid of this crap by registering your own SA Forums Account and joining roughly 150,000 Goons, for the one-time price of $9.95! We charge money because it costs us money per month for bills, and since we don't believe in showing ads to our users, we try to make the money back through forum registrations.

They did the same thing last year. Quicktime 7 is a general requirement for normal streaming videos on their website -- live streaming isn't supported by Quicktime 7 for Windows though.

Yeah it seems like extensions are specifically user-invoked, there's no method for safari to invoke an adblock extension on each page load automatically for example.

This does pave the way for 1password (and similar password managers) autofill extensions though.

The biggest problem I've run into with the beta is app compatibility, which is to be expected. This will vary depending on which apps you use. The system itself is surprisingly stable for me with Beta 1.

It's probably a bug.
