I'd be surprised if a lot of the iOS integration stuff wasn't compatible a few years back. I have a late 2011 iMac, with a 2nd gen i7 3.4 ghz and 12gb ram plus an AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024mb. It can still play most new games at at least medium settings. Unless the new iOS compatibility needs some super specific bluetooth or some such, why wouldn't the computer support it?
