And the new Mac Pros. Otherwise nothing else can currently. It'll be nice once Thunderbolt 2 is universal across Apple's entire Mac lineup.

It's not uncommon for Apple to support older hardware in the developer preview than what ultimately ends up being supported in the final release, so approach with caution.

Interpretations of UI elements is always a subjective topic. Some people will like it and some won't. That's why it's always nice to have an option to be able to alter the look of the UI.
