I just put the finishing touches on my first novella’s rough draft (~40,000 words). What’s the best way to go about finding an editor for this kind of project? I know some people in publishing but they’re more on the 80-90k, wide-release kind of scale. I’m not expecting this book to make any money.

I’m planning to go the Amazon CreateSpace route and pick up some vanity copies, along with some meager sales to friends and family. Right now the book is In LaTeX but I can shuffle it off to Word or PDF as necessary. Does that sound like the right path so far?
