I was surprised by the text-to-voice recognition thinger. Whatever you call it. It's surprisingly good! It actually pronounced my first name right! No one ever pronounces my first name right. But then it pronounces falcon like "faulkon." What kind of British poo poo is this? Need to bring in some more wacky Miis. So far it's just me and my husband in there. My Mii likes veggie burgers (I loving love hamburgers, so she'd better!) and is already friends with husband's Mii.

I'm not sure how many Miis the game will let you put on the island, but I hope it's more than 30, because that is how many apartment rooms I seem to have right now.

As far as I can tell, just hang around the apartments until you see someone has a black or orange icon over their heads, and they might talk about making friends with someone. Just do your best to encourage any of those friendships.

I was looking forward to seeing what the rap contest was, and it did not disappoint. It was incredibly weird, just like I would have wanted. That's from left to right Chun-Li, Ganondorf, Lu Bu, Joseph Joestar, Solid Snake and DIO. Lu Bu won.

So if I enjoy Animal Crossing, like a lot, is this a thing I should look at? Like, I watched a few videos and this looks like The Sims but with less lovely floor pissing AI and more Animal Crossing style silly factor? Is this something you play with your friends list or is it just the Miis you make/download?

How 'deep' does it get? Like I can tell it has a thing where everyone has a little icon saying they want something, and there seems to be a pretty basic system of hunger and favorite foods that doesn't seem to have much impact beyond making them unhappy if they're hungry. Is it one of those things where if I say, go a month or so obsessed with replaying a Pokemon game the only worry I'll have is missing spotpass treats or the like, or is it more Tomagachi style where I need to check in every so often or things go bad?
