So I've been addicted lately to the How Did This Get Made podcast, which is Andre and Rafi from The League plus Andre's IRL wife and great guest stars. It's amazing, Jason Mantzoukas is apparently pretty much in-Rafi-mode 24/7. e: my go to "trashy reality show" on Netflix is My Strange Addiction. The episode with the guy who fucks his car

Yeah I'll actually make a thread for Rectify season 2 here in a day or two. A lot of people in the CD Netflix thread got into the show so hopefully more people will watch it this year. e: Oh yeah there's a trailer. Probably don't watch unless you watched season 1 though: http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/05/22/rectify-season-2-trailer/

The only thing I'm kind of torn on with Rectify season 2 is bringing back a certain character, considering he had the most perfect exit imaginable in season 1. I'm of course referring to the black fellow death row inmate in the flashbacks in season 1. On the one hand more of those is awesome, on the other hand it cheapens what felt like a complete arc and I'm not really sure the flashbacks needed to continue into season 2 at all.

I honestly like some of those designs (the Joker and Harley are great). Half of them, I can't even tell who they're supposed to be. Like, which one is Catwoman? The goth girl? e: ahaha, just "got" The Scarecrow, that's great. The Riddler is perfect too. poo poo, I think I want this show now.

For better or worse, the (seemingly very spoilery) preview for season 2 looks like things are going to get pretty crazy and not be very slow at all. Of course, it could be typical network misleading promo #1,009,238. At least there are 10 episodes instead of 6 this year so we should get quite a bit more progression in the overall story as well.

Laugh out loud at anyone who thinks HBO would let their biggest moneymaker become hot garbage out of the artistic integrity of staying true to the source material. Guy Braunam was apparently auditioning, but they didn't take him, which is weird because A: He's famous-ish and B: He's funny. I had no clue Amy Schumer and Doug Benson started on LCS. True Blood has been consistently entertaining for its entire run so far. I haven't watched this season's premiere yet but it seems kind of silly to me to say it was ever good and that it "went to poo poo". If anything, the more campy and ridiculous it got, the better, imo. Someone really ought to make a thread.

OK, well I had to look up Taxi Brooklyn and it's based on Luc Besson's excellent film Taxi, and the series was made and has been airing in France (getting great ratings) so... I think it probably actually will be in fact awesome. Why a French series was made in English and with American actors, I dunno.

I'd say Crowley and Anathema show evidence of being both at the same time. Those are the two whose storylines seem so obviously mixed between both writers more or less equally.
