Me and some friends had fun playing that 4 player for a while. Being set in '80s Sweden was cool, but it didn't really go anywhere. Missed opportunity. Also the combat was insanely hard, you end up using all your ammo as a group of 4 trying to take out one mid sized robot. And there are...loads of them.

As that game goes on it gets easier as your skills ramp up and you start getting non-poo poo weapons. I was in a 2-player coop game where we ran into a named ApocalypseTank...we missed the fact that there was also a named Harvester nearby...and a group of Hunters...and then two more Tanks and a fuckton of Hunters arrived so we wound up in a running gun battle along a highway nicking away at whatever was closest with everything we had. We won, got some serious loot and backtracking our path it looked like a robot scrapyard because of some of the sympathetic explosions from the big guys taking out random Hunters and Runners.

That game rocks. The plot is some serious Outer Limits poo poo and it's so cool when you finally realize what the gently caress is actually going on.
