In the game Mount and Blade you can subvert the title and play as an archer or a spearman or a mounted dude without a blade. It's cool that they didn't force you to play as the game originally intended. Likewise, you can play with a nation outside of Europe in Europa Universalis. It's those little details that makes Paradox such a great company.
