The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine are great movies with solid performances by Jim Carrey, but they're not really "comedies" in the traditional sense. The phrasing "the best thing Jim Carrey has ever done" implies to me that we're not strictly talking dumb comedies.

It was a dumb and dumber movie but a lot of the jokes felt forced and there was a lot of duds. It wasn't anywhere near as good as the first movie and almost seems like they waited way to long to do it again. Both the characters seemed like the original Lloyd and Harry and they had pretty good chemistry but a majority of the movie fell flat. This is pretty much exactly what I expected based on the trailer. It looks so forced, unnatural, and unfunny. Meowbot posted:they waited way to long to do it again. Ha.
