not to defend a D&Der, but the other side (shi'ite militias like the core of the old wolf brigade boys in the interior ministry, badr brigades, asaib ahl al-haq) are also literal hitlers so he's in a sense kind of right. we should treat it like syria and just let both sides kill each other as much as possible
