Trying to engage in a serious academic study or debate with the groups that basically were made up by people on tumblr is like playing a game of intellectual Calvinball. Edit: I think if you personally engaged with many of the adherents of transethnicism, otherkins, multiple systems, etc, you'd probably find that what they actually have are various, classified mental disorders or just a teenage desire for attention and acceptance by their own special clique.
