Given the way the Dauphine played out, I wonder how that will impact Froome and Contador's game of chicken. Suspect Froome will be much less willing to take chances and more willing to drag Bertie around. Betting on his TT performance. And sorry, but gently caress giving Millar a free pass. He's sick and he hasn't had a result in almost two years. Apparently should have retired last year.

Not as good as the OP, but Strava has a cool summary up: http://blog.strava.com/tour-de-france-2014/ List of athletes that have accounts (may or may not upload), routes for each of the stages and main segments.

Looked to me like Sagan was betting on one of the GC contenders to at least close most of the gap to Nibbles. Don't really know how else Sagan could have played it. He couldn't cover every single move by himself. Awesome showing by the main contenders. And I have to admit, it warmed my heart to see old man Horner do better today. dema fucked around with this message at 17:18 on Jul 6, 2014 |

NBC's Tour De France iOS app is great. $15, no advertisements and HD. Also shows where the groups are on the profile and has a searchable ticker. Same interface as Tour of California and USA Pro Challenge apps.

Some riders are significantly better than others at keeping themselves out of trouble in the pack. Froome doesn't seem to be a very skilled at that. Too much looking at his stem? Anyway, bummed to see him out of his race. Was only hoping to see him lose time and be put back on his heels going into the last two weeks.
