I accidentally put a hole in one of my cats at the car wash yesterday.

Found a place on google called "Muffler Man" and has good reviews so I chance it. Pull into the parking lot and before I can get out an employee walks over and asks whats up. Has me drive it directly on the lift, they see the hole and offer to weld it up for $40. 15 minutes later Im outta there. It was such an enjoyable experience I kind of wish I had more exhaust problems.

Ive been driving manual for 14 months and I learned on a mustang gt I bought without being able to drive. Luckily my brother was able to drive it home for me, and he taught me in a couple hours the next day. Its only 260bhp but it had a fast bite and I was scared of the clutch. We're buddies now. Though I want to upgrade to a short throw at some point.

I've got an interview for a part-time job this week. I'm stressing out over what to wear, because the job is working the counter at a porn store. Putting on my normal interview power suit seems weird.

I think I went in jeans and a nice shirt. I got the job, but I was still living at home and my mom wouldn't let me take it.

When I was hanging around waiting for the interview the mailman came in to deliver some mail, and left with some whippits. Interesting job I bet.

For those of you that change your own oil, where do you get your oil from? I spend close to $40 to get it done which isnt bad since I need extra oil and I refuse to go to one of those cheap chain shops but Im sure I can spend almost half that if I do it myself.

Dude...
Rotella is diesel oil, you won't find it in anything thin. Hell I don't think they make different weights.
It's good with old motors, especially flat tappet ones, but I think they were required to bring zinc levels down so they're supposedly not as good anymore.

Just buy the mobil1 jugs.
Well I said I never heard of it before. I guess its my fault for not saying I run a gas engine. Sorry!

On my first road trip in the mustang. Nothing crazy, 800 miles or so. After a few hours of driving I start to smell something funny, reminding me of warm electronics or metal. Sniff around inside the car, wheels, under the hood. Nothing. Turns out a thick plastic bag got caught on my catalytic converter and melted all over it. Messy, but a relief to see.

Oh by the way, since I'm the one that originally asked about oil I thought I'd mention I just picked up some synthetic motorcraft with a motorcraft filter even though no one recommended either of them. I am that guy who doesn't listen to advice given, sorry. :(

Dunno if anyone remembers but last month I think I posted about the etiquette of leaving notes on others car. Ive been seeing this MR2 lately but its always there when I come in so we must have different shifts. I left a note saying "Nice car - 'black mustang'".

Today, probably over a month later I had this under my wiper:

Car friends!
