Forza 5 is a pretty fun game still but yeah they made a lot of missteps IMO. At least they've been trying to fix it. The problem is Microsoft and affiliates never want to communicate what they're working on. Their corporate culture is around secrecy, which makes sense from a business competitive and other standpoints, but I don't see the harm in the Turn 5 guys saying that they are working on a new version of the Nurburgring to be added, unless there is some chance they couldn't actually do it. I think Microsoft should have hired me as the new CEO, I have a lot of good advice for them really

Hop into one you've never driven and it's likely to make you look like a 16-year-old all over again. One time I got an Impreza loaner and it was sooo easy to drive. Perfectly linear engagement and easy. Like my old Mazda Protege. So I wouldn't say every time you drive a new vehicle. If they handed me the keys to an STi though, who knows how that would be.

I'd ask where they came from and he said he didn't know. Then he fell asleep and wedged the car in an underpass kinda shaped like this > . I was honestly shocked when I saw it after. I know that car saved his life. It was literally twisted. If it was brand new it would have been totalled. And the thing still loving ran and all the doors closed.

I don't remember the exact year but it was fourth gen. Looking on Wikipedia it couldn't be an SE as it was black with ivory interior. I wa sad cause it was once a really nice example but fortunately there are still many around. But the biggest thing is when I saw it I was so happy he was okay cause it was pretty messed up and I don't even think he realized it cause on the phone he didnt make it sound like a big deal.

Try clicking on the gear icon for the settings. Maybe there's something in there that tells where it came from. There's no information in mine & it's not enabled so I don't know how it looks if you do.

I'd generally recommend something with a better nutritional value than Iams. That specific formula starts with chicken by product meal (beaks, feet, whatever else leftovers) and continues with a lot of corn product. Corn isn't really that useful to cats. If you're interested I'm sure there's a pet nutrition thread in Pet Island. On the other hand if you have a picky eater you gotta do what you gotta do.

Cat Terrist posted:WTF is NWT? In all seriousness when I visited Australia in 2000 I felt some tension in Sydney. I don't know that it was a huge problem but it sounds like there were a lot of immigrant groups, especially Asian people, that were very insular and didn't really assimilate to Australian culture nor speak English. It felt like that caused a lot of resentment amongst the locals. I got a sense of it just by observation a bit but obviously I was just a visitor so I can't speak like an authority on the matter but there was tension there... Now all that being said I had a really great time and met lots of great people all over. The day I was leaving I had my 18th birthday though. Edit: Oh I'm not trying to make an us-vs-them post... we have plenty of problems with racism in the U.S. even if people don't realize it. But maybe this should all be a topic for a different thread. Cat Terrist posted:It's gotten a lot better, the late 90's was when the division on the Asian refugees from Vietnam and other places began to have their kids merge into the wider society. So now the second generation is having kids now and the reality is that Sydney is turning very quickly into a true Asian city, I think from what I read last week that the overall Asian background residents is now over 25% and the level of non-english speaking households is now approaching 30% and in many suburbs is now a majority - the process seems to be accelerating as well (That doesn't mean the residents don't speak English tho, most households are bi-ligual). What's kind of funny is what happens here sometimes is first and second generation immigrants really want to assimilate, but then their kids who've lived in the U.S. their whole life want their own cultural identity and embrace their heritage. Which actually I've done just a little. I was born here but am partly eastern European but was never really much interested in that until I got older. My mom just wanted to assimilate to culture here so I didn't really get a taste of it until the past few years on my own volition. Also yeah when I visited Sydney it was the month before the Olympics so everything was tourist oriented which is a handy time to be a tourist

To get the real sports car experience you have to suffer, right? I don't think so. It's nice to have a/c when the track is out in the desert (Buttonwillow, Willow Springs), and you're queued and just sitting there waiting to get on the track. But, that might just be me

Are birds more likely to poo poo on my car because they can perch on the roof rails or am I just being paranoid/retarded? My anecdotal observation is it has to do with car color.

I'm on my 2nd one in my 122 (under warranty) because it just stopped holding a charge out of nowhere. The car has zero current draw when off (I mean come on, it doesn't even have a clock) so when the battery store guy told me I should use a battery tender because they're not meant to sit for a month I asked if they put tenders on them in their warehouse. If I get through the warranty period I will not replace with another Optima. Really all I wanted is the ability to bring it back to life if I do something dumb like leave the map light on for a week. Actually, one time I left it on for two months (I went out of the country). D'oh. I think I'll replace the light with one of those obnoxious blue LEDs so I'll never forget again.
