Lucki Eck$ is one of thsoe dudes I've been meaning to give a proper listen for a while, but never got round to till now. I am really liking his sparce and spacey beats on body high, are all his tapes or albums like that? also, is there a list anywhere of all the things he has done?

I only really have two mentions for album of the year. My favourite was FlyLo's You're Dead. My most disappointing experience was Soul's These Days. I was so ready for that album, it just wasn't ready for me.

I think this album has the same basic problems as Ab Soul's latest. It feels overproduced at times with way too much going on, there is too much on it which is wasted (like Ab, he seems to have gone all in on songs ending, and still going on for 1:30 as another song, or a monologue or some poo poo), and it feels like 10 ideas executed way less than amazingly instead of one idea executed well. Com'on TDE, get it together. Also, where were his other TDE coworkers? No Black Hippy group remix? No Ab on just one track? No Q? Not even Jay Rock?

that Danny Brown song is weak as gently caress, Danny is good on it but Clams did not deliver. it is a cool, experimental song, but I don't think it works. it felt like another "Sweeney Song" with Danny on MNDSGN, but the beat doesn't work nearly as well. e; a better song in the same sort of aesthetic that danny already did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7u8oAjb9GM

i am really liking this new album, blown away by it because i wasn't feeling Really Doe and was afraid more of the album would be that instead of what it is loving: pneumonia, tell me what i don't know, rolling stone, ain't it funny, when it rain i'm one of those rare dudes who loved the gently caress outta OLD more than the past work but if I don't cool on this one then I think it is probs gonna overtake OLD for my DB album of choice it all just sounds so clear and cramped
